We have been designing and building premium outdoor living areas since 1991. There are two companies which work together to design and build our premium outdoor living areas. Our principals James Irwin and Dan McBride make a perfect team by bringing complimentary talents to the landscaping design and construction process. James’ knowledge and experience derived from an engineering degree from the University of Texas and building custom homes shows in the attention to every detail of every project. His goal is to ensure that every project meets his high expectations for quality and correctness. Dan McBride’s masterful landscaping skill shows in his handling of hillside erosion issues, selection of plants and depth-of-soil requirement details.

James Irwin
Principal of Everything Outdoors

James Irwin is a Gulf War veteran who studied engineering at the University of Texas. He
began in the construction business at the age of 17. Even then his attention to every detail of every project was evident: measuring, measuring again and double checking every element of his project. Now, with many years of experience James still supervises every project personally. He is more likely to be found on a job site than in his office. His goal is to ensure that every project meets his high expectations for quality and correctness.

Dan McBride
Principal of Everything Outdoors Landscaping

Dan McBride has 18 years of experience in landscaping and outdoor environment design and implementation. He takes the architect’s or client’s vision and brings it to life in stages from soil preparation to irrigation and beautiful masonry. Dan enjoys providing solutions for challenging topography and creating colorful and hearty landscapes. His extensive knowledge of which plants to select and what they need to flourish in our climate keeps our client’s yards beautiful for years to come.
